Books for DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH!

I absolutely love all of these books!!

1. Disability visibility

Great first read for #disabilitypride month!! A collection of stories written by disabled authors.

2. The reason I jump.

New to #autism or a veteran? A book written by an autistic person answering questions about autism.

3. Haben

I used to work with my states #deafblind project and Haben’s book was definitely a must read for me. Plus very informational!

4. Demystifying Disability.

Please read this book!! Disabled people are HUMAN and should have EQUAL RIGHTS and BASIC ACCESS to their community!!

5. Sitting Pretty

I have not read this book yet but I cannot wait to dive in. but right now I am reading

6. A Face for Picasso.

Only one chapter in but already in love. Ariel starts the chapter off discussing beauty and how disabled people don’t fit into what society deems as “beautiful.”
