1. Point Beach State Park: 5/5

🌷It has a GORGEOUS big beach. Probably the closest you will get to an ocean vibe in WI. All my ocean beach lovers, this one is for you.

🌷It has nice well kept bathrooms and showers which is always an important thing when I go camping.

🌷The Campground is well kept and the sites all look very nice.

🌷They have a Pancake breakfast on some days

🌷They have a nice concession stand that sells tons of food including snacks and ice cream

🌷There are multiple beautiful hikes

🌷There is a cool lighthouse you can see

2. Governor Thompson State Park: 3.5/5

🌷There are tons of trees and pretty wildflowers

🌷VERY, and I repeat VERY nice bathrooms. Best I've ever seen at a campground. However they may be far depending on your site number

🌷Lots of nice hikes and waterfalls in the surrounding areas

🌷Not one of my personal favorites but still gorgeous

3. Devils Lake State Park: 4/5

🌷Beautiful lake

🌷Fun hikes with AMAZING views, however the hikes are a bit of a climb and have uneven surfaces so they may be difficult for those with health issues or who hate exercise lol

🌷Nice campground

🌷There are a LOT of people though

4. Peninsula State Park: 5/5

🌷One of my personal favorites

🌷All around great park

🌷It has bike and kayak rentals nearby

🌷The Campground is well kept and the bathrooms are decent

🌷An abundance of wonderful, well kept hikes. My favorites are the vita trail and he eagle trail

🌷There is a lighthouse you can hike to

🌷Nice beach

🌷SOOOOOO many great things to do in the surrounding towns
