Breakup while pregnant💔

❤️‍🩹No contact: this one was crucial. I of course kept minimal and no contact for the most part… but coparenting was going to be a thing once he was born. There’s much more to the story but I tried to not talk to him as much as I could for my own mental health.

❤️‍🩹Focused on myself: tried to heal even though it was extremely difficult. I used to do journaling which was so helpful during that time.

❤️‍🩹Distracted my mind by preparing for his arrival: I used to go shopping for my baby, organize his stuff, prepare our bedroom, etc. it made me feel more connected to him and excited about pregnancy, and his arrival

❤️‍🩹Therapy: I went to therapy since the moment I found out I was pregnant because I knew me and my baby deserved better and I wanted to be as healthy as I could for him.

❤️‍🩹Social media: this one was sooo helpful and I can’t tell you how much it helped even though it sounds silly. It was my safe space to feel connected to others in the same or similar situation.
