RINGU (1998)/ THE RING (2002)

pls watch at least one of these versions!! It’s another one of those horror staples that u need to see in order to call urself a buff 🤭🤭

FACTS:

1) crazy enough, a new survey still rates Ringu as one of the scariest j-horror’s ever lol.

2) Sadoko is a typical spirit from Japanese folklore- she’s a Onryo (a vengeful spirit!)

3) A whole manga franchise in Japan was made off of these movies…

4) Ringu is so iconic in Asia, as it paved the way for LOTS of other horrors!!!

5) there r literally so many sequels and remakes it’s hard to count. A couple include Ring 2 (which I told y’all to watch as well hehe) and Rasen.

Anywayyyys, don’t wait a second longer to watch The Ring/ Ringu! And if u end up rly liking it, be sure to watch The Ring 2!!! :D
