INGREDIENTS

6-8 okras

2 eggs

Salt and pepper

1 tbsp sesame oil (for frying)

Soy sauce (to taste)

Sesame oil (final drizzle)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Bring a pot of water to boil and cook the okras for 1-2 minutes.

2. Rinse the okras with cold water and drain well.

3. Cut the okras into thick slices.

4. Beat 2 eggs and season with salt and pepper. Add the thickly sliced okras into the beaten eggs.

5. On medium heat, add 1 tbsp of sesame oil, followed by the okra and egg mixture. Flip it over once it is cooked through and allow the other side to cook for 1-2 minutes.

6. Season with soy sauce to taste and give it a final drizzle of sesame oil.

7. Transfer them to a serving plate and enjoy as it is, or simply drizzle over some ketchup for additional sweetness!
