All those Easter eggs.. now what?!
Here’s how I make our deviled eggs each year. This recipe is for about 25 eggs that I made this year. I tend to eyeball the ingredients so you may have to play a little and make it your own!
INGREDIENTS:
Hard Boiled Eggs
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Baby Dill Pickles
Dill Relish
Bacon Bits
Ground Pepper
Paprika
1- Half the eggs, putting the halves on a serving plate and empty the yolk into a mixing bowl.
2- Add 1c mayo, 1/3c mustard, and 3-4c dill relish to the bowl of yolks and stir together. Using a fork is most effective to smash the yolks into the softer consistency.
3- Dice about 10-13 baby pickles into small pieces and add into yolk mix. Also add 1/3c bacon bits.
4- Add a dash of ground pepper into yolk mix. Mix all the ingredients together again.
5- Spoon the yolk mix into the halved eggs, add a sprinkle of paprika on top and boom! Delicious!
I personally like foods with a little kick. I sprinkle chili powder on my eggs! Also very delicious if you like spice!
