Visit these unique spots on Vancouver Island!

Vancouver Island is one of the most beautiful places in the world but did you know it’s one of the quirkiest places too!

Oyster River Potholes : This spot located in the Comox Valley is a must visit on the island and is characterized by its distinctive natural potholes! The coolest thing about this spot is that you can swim there! We visited in July and while the water was quite cold, it was really refreshing!

Tacofino : If you are visiting Vancouver Island you HAVE to try the tacos at Tacofino! I got the crispy chicken tacos at $8 each but they were SO worth it! The truck has fun stickers from all around the world, making it a unique stop on the island!

Old Country Market - Goats on Roof : This was one of my favourite stops on our trip! Unfortunately the goats weren’t on the roof when we first got there but when we came out of the store they were there! The fun didn’t stop with the goats though, the inside is a quirky gift shop with souvenirs and food!
