Valladolid is a charming town located in the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, known for its rich history, colonial architecture, and vibrant culture. Founded in 1543 by Spanish conquistadors, Valladolid is one of the oldest towns in the Yucatán region!

I immediately fell in love with this town and its colorful colonial buildings, cobblestone streets, and bustling town square! One of the most notable landmarks in Valladolid is the Cathedral of San Servacio, a stunning example of Spanish colonial architecture!

We spent the afternoon here exploring the town square, enjoying some delicious Mexican cuisine, and taking in everything this historical town had to offer!

Overall, Valladolid offered a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty and I highly recommend visiting!
