Visiting Woodstock, Vermont in the fall has been on my bucket list for quite some time! It’s one of America’s prettiest towns and truly impressed me with its natural scenery, friendly people, and wide range of things to do! We were only able to spend a morning in Woodstock but we were still able to visit some great spots! Here is what I recommend for the perfect fall morning!⬇️

Taftsville Covered Bridge : With approximately 104 covered bridges in Vermont (the highest density of bridges in the US) it’s an obvious activity for your fall morning in Woodstock! There are 4 covered bridges in Woodstock but we only visited two, Taftsville and Middle Bridge! Both are beautiful and definitely deserve a stop to take a few photos!

Sugarbush Farm : This stunning 550 acre family owned farm located just outside of the main town, is picture perfect! The rural farm produces a wide variety of cheeses and maple syrup. You’ll be able to sample some of their delicious cheese and syrup and then do a little shopping in their farm store! You can also walk their scenic nature trail and learn all about how syrup is made. Admission is free and they are open 9-5 Monday-Sunday!

Woodstock : Visiting the quaint town itself to explore and do some shopping is a must! There are many adorable boutiques to explore and maybe pick up a souvenir or two!

Woodstock Scoops : I am so glad we stumbled upon this ice cream shop while walking down the main road! The Maple Cremee (Vermont’s version of soft serve) is an absolute must try! It’s probably the best soft serve I’ve ever had, especially with the crunchy maple sprinkles! I’m drooling just thinking about it!

Quechee Gorge : Although technically not in Woodstock, Quechee Gorge is a must stop on your way in or out of town! Located along U.S Route 4, the gorge is 165 feet deep, making it the deepest in Vermont! You can park in the parking lot right beside the gorge and either look at it from above or hike the trail!

Is Woodstock, Vermont on your bucket list!?
