Ranking Bridgerton Seasons on Netflix 🏆

The Bridgerton Series is one of the main reasons why I continue to watch Netflix. I’ve never read Julia Quinn’s book series for Bridgerton, but I’ve watched all of the seasons that Shonda Rhimes has helped executive produce for Netflix. With Part 1 of Penelope and Colin’s season coming soon for Season 3 in May I decided to rank what has been released so far.

1. Kate & Anthony (Season 2)

I recently rewatched their season, I swear it’s not recency bias to put them first, but I just love them together. It’s the classic enemies to lovers trope but their chemistry as a couple is just so so good. Now that I think about it forbidden love is also kind of at play here too just a tiny bit. The tension between them is palpable but it’s captivating to watch it all unfold between Kate and Anthony.

2. Queen Charlotte & King George (The Prequel/Spin-off)

The garden wall scene in the opening episode always has me shook. Like their first interactions live rent free in my mind. I love that this season provides context to the Queen & King’s characters in other Bridgerton seasons. I genuinely enjoyed getting to know their characters more in depth. I don’t want to give to much away just incase you haven’t watched it, but this season is sweet and is certainly worth the watch.

3. Daphne & Simon (Season 1)

The start of it all! These two set the tone for how the Bridgerton series works to be honest. I don’t dislike their season but in my mind the love story is not quite as good as the seasons that followed it. That’s just my opinion. For sure still watch this one though since it lays the groundwork for Bridgerton and introduces you to the entire Bridgerton family.

4. Penelope & Colin (Season 3)

I was having this discussion the other day with my friends, I don’t know how on Earth they’re about to convince me that Colin suddenly falls for Penelope. The way this man barely pays her any attention. 😭 I also know their season isn’t out yet, so this is a preseason ranking, but I guess I’ll just have to wait and see how everything unfolds. However, from what I’ve seen of them in the previous Bridgerton seasons… they’re dead last in my book. 💀 If I’m not mistaken this is the first season that’s being released in 2 parts for Bridgerton and I’m also not sure how I feel about that. It’s irrelevant to the plot though, so I won’t hold it against their season. I will be watching and giving them a chance!

I would recommend watching all the seasons just to have your memory refreshed with all the intricate details for Season 3.
