first time kitten mom

i rescued a kitten last night!!! it was seen wondering around alone for 2 days and one of my friends picked it up off the side of her apartment building so i took it upon myself to take it in.

i’ve had cats before but obviously from the support of living at home/at my parents expense. but i know NOTHING about owning my own cat, vet visits, shots it needs, the correct food for kittens this small, etc.

i was wondering if anyone on here knew good kitten brands for food, toys, etc that are cheap. i’m in college and can’t afford a lot but i want to give this cat the best life possible:) if you want to help support me anything would help, i know i need to go to the vet sometime this week so if you would like to contribute my venmo is @katiewakefieldd !
