Top 3 MUST SEE spots in Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is my absolute favorite National Park. I’ve spent about 2 weeks here over the years and here’s what I recommend you see if you’ve only got a few days.

Tunnel View. If you enter from the West side, you’ll likely see this on your way in. This is one of the coolest views in the whole park, and there is no hike required! From this viewpoint, you can see El Capitan, half dome, and even some waterfalls if you’re lucky. Definitely a must!

Cathedral Lakes. Located off of Tioga road in the northern section of the park, visit Cathedral lakes for some amazing, jagged mountain views, the sparkling lakes, and some peace and quiet. This area is so much quieter than the valley and so worth the trek.

Sentinel Dome/Glacier point. I like to combine the Sentinel Dome hike with a hike to Taft point as well. This area offers unique views of half dome and the surrounding area and shouldn’t be missed!

Yosemite is one of the best places in America. Definitely pack lots of water and layers, as there are many different elevations in the park and the weather can be super unpredictable.
