DIY Pumpkin Candle

There’s nothing better than fall scented candles to make the house feel cozy, but I never seem to love the jars that fall candles come in.

I wanted to make one that matched my decor and looked cuter than the ones you usually get at the store. I found this really pretty mini pumpkin baking dish at HomeGoods and it seemed like the perfect size and shape for a candle.

I took a fall scented candle that I already had and melted the wax down by placing it in a pot of warm water. I added 2 wicks to the dish and used glue dots to keep them in place.

Once the wax was melted, I poured it into the dish and used chopsticks to keep the wicks in place while it cooled. Once it was totally cool, I trimmed the wicks and lit my new pumpkin candle. Such a fun way to make a custom candle for the season!
