Reality Behind Instagram

A beautiful tropical Vacation means all sorts of photos shoots and cute bathing suits right?

…Not exactly…

On a vacation with family it is not always easy to get cute photos that are instagram worthy from a family who doesn’t understand the aesthetic requirements of instagram photos.

It can be embarrassing and uncomfortable to ask them to take bikini photos so you have to sometimes ball up a towel and turn on the self timer when you’re alone. That means that in turn you only have a maximum of 10 seconds to pose ever so perfectly. Leading to a lot of imperfect photos. It’s important to acknowledge the imperfect photos as well as the angled, posed, and edited photos that made the cut. It’s the same body and same day. Only a few minutes apart. Bloated, uneven tan, rolls, you name it.

We all know instagram is the highlights and the best photos so here is not the best photos.
