Hidden Corners of New Mexico 🌶️

Three of the several beautiful areas to visit in NM, all of which are great for refocusing the mind after a long week. I haven’t been in so long, I am looking forward to taking these opportunities again in the near future!

1. Cochiti Lake- On Pueblo de Cochiti Land, please be mindful and respectful of the regulations and culture. Beautiful swimming area, and easy to relax on the sand or near the fishing spot too!

2. Bandelier National Monument- Does a solstice hike every December. It’s a nice easy walk with a large group, and then you can stick around to navigate the more tough terrain afterwards. Beautiful, relaxing, and so many spots that really let you feel the history behind the mountains.

3. Sandia Mountains- Get very snowy and can be crowded, but very fun if you like to (safely, of course!) goof around on hikes and there are lots of different paths to take!
