🫢my botox experience💉

I get botox every 3 months for migraines (and it’s even covered by insurance! since i have more than 15 migraine days a month). I have to say; it’s painful. super painful. I consider myself really good with needles and frequently still black out & get hot and cold sweats. The entire rest of the day you’ll feel it if you get it in your neck too. HOWEVER!!!!! it’s really super helpful. I can tell my migraines increase in frequency when I get close to the date of needed to revisit. If you’re thinking about getting botox cosmetically, it’s far less shots! STILL painful and you still have to repeat it multiple times a year, but it can really be super beneficial. It helps to block pain receivers, and I guess I won’t complain about the cosmetic effects either!!!
