HOW I KNEW I WAS IN A RELIGIOUS CULT

Truth is …. I DIDN’T

I didn’t realize that I was in a religious cult until a couple years after I left. I grew up in the cult and my family were leaders there. To me it was just normal everyday life. Most people do not know they are in a cult until they escape it , which makes it that much harder to get people to leave.

Being brainwashed to believe that if you follow these strict rules set in place by your leader who (was told by god himself )that you’d get a one way ticket to heaven. That ONLY people who believed exactly how we do will get into heaven and if you disagree with anything that your an enemy.

It sets such a riff between you and the outside world that someone can slam hard evidence that your leader is wrong and you’d still follow them blindly to the edge of the world.

BUT this didn’t stop me from speaking up , my voice and now countless others who have followed have been heard around the country now and will continue to speak out about everything we witness.

If you think your in a cult … chances are that you are.
