As you may know, from my recent posts, I’ve been kind of obsessed with the coquette, ballet core, & more romantic aesthetics lately. This is so odd for me because I SWORE I would never have a “soft-girl” era 😆 It just never seemed like it would be natural for me… and my natural aesthetic kind of goes in a different direction! But now I guess some of the “feminine” elements do seem to be coming naturallly… or atleast some kind of balance between being and appreciating both “soft girl” & “hard girl/bad B/boss B” (oh & “sexy sporty street wear” !!) Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always loved girly things like shopping, fashion, and bright colors… but I’ve never really tapped into the lace, frills, and delicate details.

It’s nice to be able to sometimes “let go” of that Boss B pressure & embrace my softer side and femininity etc.

Thinking back…. It actually kind of makes sense, because back in the day (middle school) I used to collect a lot of room decor and jewelry (not clothing though) that embodied or emanated the styles of the baroque, romantic, & renaissance eras!
