What is the carnivore diet?
The carnivore diet is animal and animal product foods
This can be beef, poultry, seafood, animal parts
Animal products like milk, cheese, goat, milk
Are there exceptions to the diet?
This diet is my own diet so I can choose to have exceptions if I want them. For example, I got berry flavored Greek yogurt. The diet itself is very strict and doesn’t include exceptions.
How do I start the diet?
With all diets, I think it’s important to ease into it because your body is used to eating the way it has been previously so your body will experience withdrawals from different things like carbs and sugars. so to make it realistic for myself, I did things like chocolate milk, as well as the berry Greek yogurt, and the turkey roast is preseasoned probably after a week or two more strict. I just want to become more acclimated to the diet first.
How does the diet work?
No need to count calories. The way this works is you make a meal and eat until you’re comfortably stuffed. This should hold you over throughout the day since it’s such a high protein diet. (I noticed I stopped snacking already)
You stay away from nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits, grains, etc.
You can do this diet for months and even years. I’ve read that a lot of people who start the diet usually continue to stay on the diet for a very long time and don’t go back.
What happens?
Metabolic state, carbs and glucose are removed from your diet and your body can reach ketosis and burn fat

Eliminates high calorie foods
Cons?
You may not receive enough, fiber, vitamin C, and E or polyphenols that you can obtain from plant foods, but you can always take a supplements.
