Bring something to entertain yourself (preferably not your phone) during the waiting periods; my favorite choice is a book but you could also bring sudoku, a crossword, a deck of cards, etc.

Go see that movie that you’ve been eyeing! You don’t need anyone to go with you. There’s a ton of perks to going alone: 1) You don’t have to share your snacks with anyone 2) You can actually focus on the movie without anyone trying to converse with you on the side 3) You can sit anywhere you want in the theater, you don’t have to choose the front row where there’s seats together, etc.
