Cute DIY Checkered Tray ⬜️🟩🌸🫶💍

Hi everyone! 🌟

I had this idea to create my own checkered tray because all the ones I found for sale were too pricey. 💸 I love DIY projects, so I decided to make one myself! I saw someone making one here on Lemon8 and thought I could do it too. 💪🏽

Using a simple rectangular piece of wood, affordable green glass tiles (which glow in the dark! ✨), and adhesive glue, all from Hobby Lobby, it turned out exactly how I envisioned it! 💕

Instructions:

1. Prepare Materials:

Rectangular wood piece (< $5)

Green glass tiles with white backs (< $5, glow in the dark)

Adhesive glue (from Hobby Lobby)

2. Arrange Tiles:

Lay out tiles in a checkered pattern on the wood.

3. Glue Tiles:

Apply glue to the back of each tile or to the wood directly.

Press firmly onto the wood surface.

4. Let Dry:

Allow the tray to dry completely as per glue instructions.

5. Enjoy Your Creation:

Use your new checkered tray for serving or decoration!
