last day to the carnival @ mbs! 🎟

i was pleasantly surprised to find out carnival by the bay was taking place yesterday and wasted no time to bring my picnic mat down and head there 😍 if you missed it, you still have one day — TODAY. you have to make ur way there today!! its located at the lawn by marina bay & they are screening the greatest showman at 7.30pm! solid #movie 🥳💃🕺

this was the main highlight of the carnival with a huge projected screen and plenty of space for you to lay out ur mats 🤩

there are also chairs provided there but they fill up quickly so i suggest not to bet on it! despite reaching super late, we managed to find a spot right in the middle of the whole lawn 🍃another tip is not to sit too near the front bc the audio is soo loud up there 😳🔊

tbh i felt that the #Food was super overpriced and… pathetic 🥴 $4 gets you 5 tiny bites of churros and $4 gets u a dull looking hotdog w bun… 🌭 besides that you can get popcorn ($2), ice cream ($4) and a small selection of drinks - coke, sprite, mineral water 😶 ngl could have done it better - or maybe i’m biased having walked pass sg food fest 😭

small selection of games as well, they had a VR set which was quite cool.. but if you’re heading there just for the games, dont bother 😩

it’s not so much of a carnival as a outdoor movie screening per say, you should only go if you’re looking forward to the movie and not the carnival itself bc thrs nth much to bahahha enjoy your #weekend lovelies 😚 its open from 5.30-9.30pm & movie starts at 7.30!
