my BEST salon experience in sg 💇🏻‍♀️🩷

i prevly shared abt my korea salon experience here , so i thought i'd share one in sg as well!!

i cut my hair once a year so i've never really cared much about my salon experience as long as they cut my hair well 💇🏻‍♀️ however when i cut my hair earlier this month, i realised that this may have been the BEST salon experience i've had in singapore thus far, at 99 percent hair studio (orchard central) 🧖🏻‍♀️

firstly, there was entertainment provided while cutting your hair, so i tuned in queen of tears! 👑 i used to hate how i couldnt do anything while getting my haircut so this was a really pleasant surprise (ive never had that at other salons i went to 😴) the hairstylist (suggy) was also really kind to help me pause when i had to wash my hair 🤪

secondly, i love how friendly the staff were, both my stylist & the girl who washed my hair were v friendly & patient in answering my qns since it was my first time there! 🤭 originally went bc my bestie referred me & i could enjoy 50%, but the offer was only limited to weekdays & the lady kindly asked if i wanted to go back on a weekday instead 😚 i decided to go ahead anyw bc i wasnt free any other days & wanted to get it done ASAP 😮‍💨

thirdly, nO HARD SELLING!! 🫠 yk how some salons hardsell their treatment packages/hair products & i hate that... 🫨 i signed up for the paid-membership tho!!! it had good perks (free fringe cut, 10% off etc) & i paid $70+ in total !! i had a birthday disc that i could use immediately so it was more worth it to get the membership, haircut alone was alr 60$+!

lastly, im so happy w the end product!!! 💕 kudos to my stylist suggy! halfway through i suddenly asked her if i'd look good w bangs & she encouraged me to go for it bc she thought that it'd be fine! 🥰 was q a huge bomb dropped but glad she took it well 😋
