Hello!
recently I decided i wanted to make some changes to my lifestyle. Some of these choices have been with me for a long time but i lacked the discipline to do so. I would always start big, taking 50 yard steps* and not actually enjoying the process. And in the end i would always “fail” after a week or so, the habits would fall through the cracks and i would essentially slip back into my old habits. The habits that keep me in a place i no longer felt comfort. Changing what i keep on my night stand matters to me because it determines what I do when I wake up and before I go to sleep.
something’s i keep on my Nightstand:
1. Book & Journal - This journal is where i write EVERYTHING. It is my diary, my gratitude journal, my garden journal, sometimes for scrap paper. As for reading, my current book is what i keep there,( i would love to make a post on my current reading habits and tips on reading).
2. Basal Thermometer- after stopping BC i needed a way to track my cycle. (Separate post?) 🤭
3.Water- old reliable if you do not have water on your nightstand are you even sane? Through out the night i get a little dehydrated *sip sip* but in the mornings the first thing i wanna put into m body is water.
( don’t worry I usually have a bigger water bottle near by)
