BACKYARD CHICKEN CHORES

I’ve always wanted chickens and when my husband & I bought this house with land one of my BIG projects I wanted done first (aside from putting floors in – yes, we moved into this house with no floors it’s THAT A Much of a fixer-upper😅) was to have a chicken coop.

We build a chicken coop on our own.

My biggest tip if you’re going to do that is to make sure you bury some fencing underneath the coop so that animals can’t dig under and get to your chickens, especially if you live in the woods and have foxes like we do.

I can’t wait for my baby girl to be old enough to go back and get the chicken eggs with me every day! 🥰
