How to know he loves you

I’ve been in very few romantic relationships in my life (one of them particularly traumatizing, but that’s a story for another time).

Tonight I want to talk about my husband and how I knew he really loves me.

To keep it short and sweet, I knew he loved me because he cares about the things I care about.

The lights in the picture are an example of his love for me. We got those lights as a gift from my father in law, and I was so happy to receive them. I had been thinking about buying some for our apartment, but I just hadn’t gotten around to it.

After receiving the lights I talked to my husband about how I really wanted to hang them in the bedroom on the window.

For context I am a huge procrastinator, I had no plan to hang them up immediately when we got home. It usually takes me 5-7 business days to get things done 😂.

After a long day of traveling to get home I had no intention of hanging those lights. I wanted to lay around on the couch, and play with our baby. After a good minute I noticed my husband hadn’t been in the living room for a while so I assumed he was in the bathroom.

A few minutes later he emerges from our bedroom and excitedly tells me that he hung up the lights.

After walking in the bedroom to see the lights a huge smile came across my face 🤩. This small and seemingly unimportant task meant the world to me.

My husband knew that hanging up those lights would make me happy, and that’s why he hung them up for me.

I say all that to say ladies, if he does not show an interest or any type of care in what you lik, no matter how small or mundane it might seem, he doesn’t love you. A partner who loves you will go out of this way to make you smile even if it is an inconvenience to them.

Find yourself a man who really loves you. After all you deserve nothing less 😘.
