Was $10 worth visiting this garden in Korea?

You’ve probably come across this place when searching for must-visit tourist spots in Jeju haha, but I still highly recommend spending an hour or so here~

🚉 TRANSPORTATION 🚏

My friend and I took a taxi here as that’s more convenient than taking the public bus and walking from our hotel 😂

⛅️ WEATHER & PHOTO SPOTS 📸

When we first arrived, the weather looked quite gloomy and it looked like it was going to rain but when the sun came out, honestly the entire vibes of the place changed 💖💕

(so if you think that it would be raining the whole day, I wouldn’t recommend stopping by this place because there’s also very few sheltered areas in this garden)

When it’s sunny, the whole hill/garden looks way more magical and beautiful! Like the flowers look more vibrant and the lalang🌾/cat tail(???) field against the blue sky made me think of Ghibli movies~

We visited in mid-November but people say that the best timing to visit is Dec-March cause the camellia flowers would be in bloom then! but actually even during other seasons, there’s still flowers to see i.e. hydrangeas in the summer ☀️

Aside from the lalang field, there’s also smaller gardens, glass conservatories, a giant ancient tree, a light bulb forest path, waterfalls and a greenhouse cafe to visit too 😊

🍜 FOOD OPTIONS 🍽

We didn’t visit the greenhouse cafe but we did eat at the restaurant that’s at the entrance of Camellia Hill Botanic Garden and it had pretty tasty abalone porridge haha

Not particularly mindblowing but quite comforting on a cold, windy day~
