One of the Biggest Wastes of Money

I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had food delivered to me in the last two and a half years. It’s happened three times, and two of those times it’s because my sweet tooth got the better of me. Please don’t ask how much I spent on ice cream during those two occasions, because it’s a ridiculous amount.

The reason I avoid food delivery services like Uber and Doordash, is because it’s unbelievably expensive! Not only do you have to pay a delivery fee and tip the driver, but the food is also sold at a significant markup. A lot of what I read, has stated that the average markup is 50%. In this economy, food and everything else is already way too expensive, so I don’t need to be paying an additional 50% on top of that!

If you’re an avid food delivery girly, try to only do it once a month and see how much you save!
