YOUR PUPPY NEEDS ENRICHMENT

Enrichment ideas for your dog or puppy! These are free or cheap options to help exhaust and engage your pup, regardless of the weather! 🐶🐾

PUZZLE FEEDERS - We’ve purchased a few options, but truthfully, household items can work just as well! Try rolling up a piece of kibble or treat in a towel, or tying a knot for more of a challenge. Your dog will take their time undoing the puzzle, and love the challenge!

FIND IT GAME - My dog loooooves this game. You can play inside or out, but first you need a good wait or stay command. I usually put my dog in “place” or on his bed, and make him wait while I hide a treat or toy in the house or outside. Then he uses his nose to find it! This is a perfect exercise for rainy days.

NEW PLACES - Exploring new places or environments is great for building your puppy’s confidence. Try a new park or take your pup to the local hardware store if they are allowed!
