Best Creampuffs I've ever had?!!

I'm not sure how many of you have heard of this yet but it has taken my FYP by storm. The cream puffs looked so good that my friend and I rushed down to grab it as soon as we could.

They had an opening promotion, which was buy 5 get 1 free for only $12! Talk about a steal?!

We decided to get the seasonal and special flavour; The sakura and the raspberry white chocolate, along with the mint chocolate, the avocado coconut, mango cheesecake and the matcha azuki.

The texture of the creampuffs were a mix of a mochi and a creampuff. I loved how chewy the texture as compared to the normal choux pastry cream puffs are usually made out of. Think chewy junior but chewier and less tough! The dough itself wasn't dry as compared to most of the cream puffs out there and the filling was extremely generous. It is definitely different compared to most cream puffs out there and it is worth a try! It is not only great as a treat for yourself, but you can get it to impress you friends and family too! You MUST MUST get the mango cheesecake. It was light and refreshing and not too sweet, I would definitely go back just for that!!!

Individual flavour ratings:

Mango cheesecake: 10/10. The best flavour they have tbh. If you only want to get one, get this.

Matcha azuki: 8/10. To my matcha lovers, get this!!! The matcha taste was just right and had the perfect balance of sweetness from the azuki beans and the bitterness from the matcha.

Raspberry white chocolate: 7/10. It was good. I would recommend you try it at least one. There were small white chocolate bits in it that gave it a bit of a crunch. It's tart-ness was really refreshing.

Avocado coconut: 8/10. This one is for all my Asian mothers out there who don't really like sweet things. The cream filling was light and tasted like the coconut kuehs that are sold in Bengawan solo.

Mint chocolate: 6/10. I am usually a huge fan of mint chocolate flavoured things, but this was not it. The mint reminded me of the mint flavouring from Colgate's toothpaste. My friend on the other hand LOVED it, so it might be personal preference! :)

Sakura: 6/10. The flavour was really strong. It tasted a little more like chestnut as compared to sakura but it was still good nonetheless!

All in all, I would definitely give Chewy Berets a try! Altough I would admit that it is a little bit of a splurge, I would recommend bringing this to potlucks or gatherings to blow everyone away!!
