when fusion food is ACTUALLY fusion 🥹

ok i don’t know how many places i’ve been to that have claimed they did fusion food but it just turned out to be some pasty-looking sauce with pasta swimming in it and some herbs to pass of as “fusion”, BUT THIS PLACES MEANS BUSINESS.

kind of a funny story, but i was craving macs and so i dragged my family to the east coast park outlet when we saw this cafe (normally PACKED) with super low traffic because it was a monday at 11am, so we gave it a shot and NO REGRETS 😍

🍽️ truffle tater tots

- strong truffle taste

- portion size was a littleeee too big for 3 pax to share with accompanying mains

- but YUMMERS

🍽️ smashed avocado toast

- didn’t try this but my aunt said it was good!

- very filling

- as with all sourdough bread, it’s a bit of a hassle to cut through

- picked beetroot garnish and hummus was nice!

🍽️ laksa pasta

- PROPER FUSION.

- i could taste the strong laksa herbs being used and mixing so well with the linguini

- shells of the prawns were a little hard to remove tho

🍽️ tom yum tindel burger

- can’t rly place a finger on whether i like it thatttt much but definitely a first!

- the tindel felt very protein heavy so YAY.

- not a fan of rocket but if you’re into that it comes with a side of rocket salad!

- CASSAVA CHIPS 🤤

🍽️ carrot walnut cake

- GOATED. hands down the best carrot cake i’ve had

- they had this crumble on the side that was fantastic

- will go back just for the cake

- can i have this as my bday cake…

final verdict: MUST TRY. really loved this place and it’s gorgeous homey interior which really makes you feel like you’re hanging out in this lovely living room ☺️ will go back for sure!
