If you’re feeling up for a challenge and have a huge space in your stomach you wanna fill, come on down to Clove’s buffet at Swiss Hotel! Priced at $88/pax, it has a variety of international dishes, with various choices of meat, Asian cuisine such as dumplings and curry, sushi, a variety of seafood too (I would recommend getting the oysters) Plus a bunch of bread 🍞 here’s a quick review of the food there! ;)

Salmon - 8.5/10, no strong fish taste, good texture and slightly chewy

Oyster - 9/10, pretty good, goes down very smoothly and tastes very fresh 🦪

chicken puff - 9/10, I genuinely loved this, chicken was warm and tasted good and I loved the crispiness of this puff

roasted beef - 8/10, goes very well with the Dijon mustard and gravy there however it’s slightly chewy and idk why it just looked really red on the inside (BUT maybe that’s how it supposed to look like)

Mashed potato - 10000/10 YALL this is the creamiest mashed potato I ever had, as u can see I legit went back four/five times for this mashed potato cos it was too damn good

Honey baked ham - 7.5/10 nothing really special about this, but still tasted good

dumplings - 9/10 OKAY the Har Gao was pretty good, chive dumpling too (I regret not taking more) BUT the char Siew Pao was so yummy; the char Siew was warm and savoury + the bun was so fluffy and soft

Swiss cheese fondue section - 2/10 honestly this wasn’t my thang, the cheese legit dried up so fast and just tasted like regular cheese. The fondue is more of sauce u just pour on top and I couldn’t rlly taste much plus there isn’t much options for the toppings, I’d rather hit another section if I were to come back again

pita bread + hummus - 1000/10 pita bread was a really good texture and went perfectly with the hummus, I legit went back three times as u can see 💀 I absolutely loved this dish and would definitely recommend

Swiss chocolate cake + coffee ice cream - 1000/10 YES YES YES I definitely recommend, the chocolate cake tasted like a lava cake (which I love) and goes really well with the coffee ice cream as recommended by one of the service workers, but I honestly preferred it with the other ice cream <3

Burnt basque cheesecake - 1000/10 I absolutely loved this cheesecake, it melted in my mouth and was so sweet and delicious 🤤

💓 overall: had a wide selection of good food and free flow drinks + waiter service was really good, he recommended well and was very positive; pretty worth the money tbh
