Y’all really seemed to like my previous post about jewellery making so I figured I’d do another post featuring this neighbourhood store. Elsie Departmental Store is a craft supply store located in Ang Mo Kio. It’s only a 3 to 5 mins walk from Ang Mo Kio MRT station! 😱

I’ve been visiting this store since my secondary school days which is REALLY LONG AGO. 😢 Although their main focus are supplies for jewellery making, they do also sell items required for other crafts (crochet, knit, sewing etc). 🪡 I think this store is especially great for those residing in the north or central area. Instead of having to travel all the way to Chinatown, this store is so much more convenient. 💨

Prices here are also pretty reasonable! Probably comparable to Shopee prices. The staff are super helpful too! 🗣️ I wanted to make a necklace and wasn’t too sure on which clasp to get but they gave me pretty good advice and even showed me their own sample pieces!! 👍🏻
