$450/night Container Hotel at GBTB?! Worth it?? 🤔

If you’re looking for a new staycation location, look no further ‘cos I’ve got you! Presenting to you the Garden Pod @ Gardens By The Bay! A unique container style hotel located within Serene Garden — one of the many gardens of GBTB.

Thoughts:

As I first approached the hotel from the back, not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed. It seemed a little small but all of that changed the moment I headed to the front of the hotel. 🤩

You’ll first be greeted by their signage and it actually looks decently big from the front. The hotel itself has 4 rooms — Maple, Juniper, Jasmine and Bamboo. While the layout for all 4 rooms are the same, what differs would be the view from each room.

On the first floor, there is an island counter with kitchen appliances for you to cook, prepare your food and have your meals. There’s also a television, sofa and outdoor patio on the first floor. I can already imagine myself chilling at the porch, having a drink while enjoying the night breeze and view. 😚

Meanwhile, on the second floor, there is both a Murphy queen bed and a king sized bed. What’s nice about the second floor is that thanks to the full length mirrors, you’ll get a pretty sick view of Gardens By The Bay and the Marina Bay Area. While the toilet is pretty small, it does its job so no complaints!

If I had to nitpick on one thing it would be a lack of privacy if your curtains are not drawn. Additionally, passers by might be curious about the hotel and head towards it to get a glimpse of what’s going on.

Prices start from $450/night! Each room is able to accommodate up to 4 pax. 🤑
