Cafe with a scenic waterfront and greenery 🍃

Whisk & Paddle has been around for a really long time. As we were in the vicinity, we decided to give it a try having heard good reviews about it. And WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.

Here's what we tried!

Beef Stroganoff (linguine, braised beef brisket with buttom mushrooms and cream sauce) 🍝

— If you can't tell, they were super generous with the beef! & as it was a beef brisket, the meat was super duper soft. I really liked how they were not stingy with the cream sauce too.

Corndogs (chicken sausage in corndog style, served with sambal mayo) 🌭

— I know this dish sounds pretty "lame" for a cafe but bruh the batter was SO GOOD. It came super hot and crispy. If I'm not wrong, this is the American style corndog. The sambal was a good local twist and wasn't too spicy. But tbh, the corndog was perfect even on its own.

Masala Cauliflower Bites (battered cauliflower bites tossed with masala mix) 🧅

— If I had to choose a favourite dish from here, I think this would be it. The cauliflower was VERY ADDICTIVE, I couldn't stop going for more. The masala mix was just nice and didn't feel too overpowering.

I would definitely come back if it wasn't so out of the way. However, if you do head down, there is Uncle Ringo right beside the cafe which I'm sure would be a great date activity!!! 🥰
