In motherhood, many of us crave a moment to

☕️drink a cup of coffee in peace

🚽use the restroom alone up

🍷have uninterrupted conversation

The chaos and exhaustion motherhood brings sometimes overlooks the truly sweet moments -not all the time. Just sometimes.

Days like today, when we bring in Miss B’s little Target cart and we go shopping. I love her independence and that proud toddler strut. Shopping with my little buddy is honestly more fun than doing it alone. We go slower in the store and I let her take the reins on where we go while getting things off our list (and then some because ya know…Target). Having fun with my girls recharges me and erases the daily anxieties of trying to achieve all of the day’s tasks. These sweet days remind me to slow down and enjoy my tiny humans for the little bit of time I get to have them.
