Brown is the NEW black🤎

I recently dyed my hair at a hair salon in Indonesia & I absolutely loved the end result! Here’s what I asked for and inspirations for you guys to achieve the perfect subtle change~ 💗

What I asked for —

Ash Natural Brown (Balayage) :

There are two popular hair techniques, Balayage & Highlight. I tried balayage for the first time and it’s to die for! 😩😩 As it gives off a gradient effect, the process of growing out your roots won’t bring abrupt change or distinctions. In fact, it’s meant to blend seamlessly! 🫶🏼

I also asked for an ash natural brown to allow for easier transition once my dark roots grow out! It looks brown in sunlight but in closed settings, it looks more like ash grey. The versatility of it makes it easier to style ~

PS: I only bleached some parts of my hair as it’s a balayage~

Additional Inspiration:

1) Ash brown with grey undertones

Compared to mine, this utilizes a ‘whole head color’ (no transitions from lighter to darker color). Additionally, the grey undertones requires full head bleaching to lift the original color & create that ash effect.

2) Caramel milk tea brown

A popular favorite among Koreans, this soft creamy brown creates a soft outlook that perfectly encapsulates your beauty! You can always opt for golden tones by bleaching your hair if you wish to go lighter :)

3) Flax tea brown

For a bolder look on the darker spectrum, flax tea brown has a subtle green undertone for a more rustic feel. This is a unique color that many korean celebs (ITZY Lia, Han So Hee etc.) use!
