What is it: an immersive audiovisual experience

I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Got tickets through Seek Sophie and honestly didn’t have high expectations, but I was thoroughly impressed.

What to expect:

✔️headphones and maps included — v impressed at how clear the instructions were weaved into the story. I’m not the most gifted directionally or with reading maps, so I’m very proud to announce that I did not get lost (honestly such an achievement for me)

✔️superb storytelling — hooked from the start! I loved how it weaved in both the past and present seamlessly into the story

✔️exploring Jalan Basar — honestly, I never thought I'd explore this area or learn about its 60s life. Felt like a whole new Singapore, even after living here 20+ years!

✔️tour ends at a vintage-inspired bar — drinks were all locally sourced and honestly so underrated! vibes and drinks were 💯💯

Tips:

🤍wear comfy shoes — you’ll be walking for the most part so proper footwear (ie no heels)is probably a good idea

🤍bring your own headphone/earpiece — while headphones are provided (with great noise cancellation!), feel free to bring your own with a 3.5mm jack if you prefer.

🤍bring an umbrella — the experience runs rain or shine. We got lucky, but an umbrella is always a good idea.
