Got the $89 Poofy Bag but is it worth it? 🤔

Okay disclaimer… my mother decided to buy it so I’m just happily borrowing the BTV Poofy Bag because it’s super cute and chic!!!

Bag: Beyond The Vines Poofy Bag in Ivory

Price: $89

☁️ What I like about the bag

• Comes with a strong magnetic button closure which I was plesantly surprised by! Shuts the bag effortlessly

• All colours of the bag have a blue interior and I think it contrasts very nicely with this white bag (not really a fan of the cobalt one ONLY BECAUSE the inner blue was a slightly different shade)

• It’s really SUPER POOFY. Sits comfortably under my arm when I use it as a shoulder bag 😌

• The detachable pouch: provides choices! I like that I can compartmentalise my things or just take it out completely

• Also love the strap tab that all BTV bags have (attached my airpods there)

• Didn’t think I would be a fan of how the cross body heught sits at the top of your hip but I ended up really liking it actually!

Okay the best part…

• Water resistant nylon: I dropped some thick sushi sauce on the bag and didn’t realise till I finished my entire meal (was probably on the bag for an hour ish) and I wipe a few times with tissue and it was almost completely gone. Wiped lightly with a wet tissue after and it was good as new 😌

☁️ What I didn’t like as much

• Honestly it’s not that big. I’ve always been a fan of mini bags and I’m ok with not being able to fit that many things, however this bag is just a lot smaller than it looks because it’s so poofy! If the bag itself was a micro bag that looked super small it makes sense but this bag looks pretty sizeable but fills up quickly.

• The price…. honestly $89 for a mini bag is really pricey :’)

Overall I really like the bag because of the rectangular structure and how chic and clean it looks but if price is a huge factor for consideration I think you could probably give this a miss! Especially if you’d like an everyday bag that could hold more things :)
