hi fitspo beans! let me share a hack and tips for everyone today aka where I get my protein if my protein intake is below my usual intake!
7 eleven contains quite a variety of food that contains proteins such as:
1. Hard Boiled Eggs
2. Chicken Breasts
3. Salads
4. Jerky
5. String Cheese
6. Greek Yogurt
7. Protein Bars
etc.
I chose 3 choices that are ‘healthier’ options and that are the ones I would always go for as well.
First, we have the eggs 🍳! It costs about $2.50. To break it down for you, a single egg contains around 70 calories, 6 grams of protein, 0.5 grams of carbs, and 5 grams of fat. It’s convenient to have it get it on the go for sure.
Second, the chicken breasts 🍗! It costs about $2.70. A grilled chicken breast contains around 150-200 calories, 30 grams of protein, 0 grams of carbs, and 3-5 grams of fat. depending on the seasoning and preparation method. I would 💯 recommend this and I always get this after a gym session when I’m too lazy to meal prep hehe 🥴.
Lastly, the salad 🥗! It costs about $5.90. Typically a garden salad with grilled chicken and dressing contains around 250-300 calories, 20-25 grams of protein, 10-15 grams of carbs, and 15-20 grams of fat, depending on the type and amount of dressing used. (TIPS? I would usually avoid the dressing if I’m on a cut to prevent more fats intake i suppose)
Anyways that’s all for this! Please do not quote me as I am not a certified trainer, these are just my thoughts! feel free to let me know if my
understanding is wrong as well :)
Cheers!!!
