a coffee spot i have been gatekeeping 🫣

if you're in bencoolen/ dhoby ghaut area and in need of a coffee fix, here's a new place to try! i found myself returning to this place for a third time just for their coffee alone 🫶

ambience: think white, minimal interior with a featured plant wall 🌿 and a high ceiling! as the cafe is not as well known, there's always ample seating available which makes for a great spot for catch ups or a slow morning ☀️

what i ordered:

☕ iced white — the first time i tried their flat white, i was pleasantly surprised at how aromatic the sweet fruity notes was and instantly fell in love with it 🍑😌 i usually drop by after my spin classes at ascend fitness to get my coffee here!

🥯 scrambled bagel — this time i tried their bagels and found the scrambled eggs perfectly creamy and savory with cheese slices wrapped in the middle and sauteed mushrooms. while delicious, the richness can be a surfeiting and i would recommend sharing it! the bagel itself was a bit lacklustre for me, it was soft and slightly chewy but felt like a calefare rather than the star of the show.

they also serve pastries if you want to grab a small bite but honestly, i would recommend having a meal elsewhere and dropping by for coffee before/ after.
