I’m pregnant…?

It was a weekday afternoon where I had finished my lunch from Subway, i had alacarte Roasted Chicken Breast Sandwhich, which I felt so full afterwards that I felt like puking. It was new to me as I never felt this way before, moreover, I only had a hasbrown from Macs that morning. Then came the weekend, there was a particular day that I went to the washroom more often than usual.

Since then, I started wondering if I could be pregnant? I took an expired pregnant test kit that I had and tested, but it was negative. Then came the next weekend, I tested as well which turns out to be negative again. And I thought, maybe I was overthinking things…

Comes the 3rd weekend when we were hosting our friends at our place, I felt so hungry while waiting for our food delivery to arrive. However, when we were having our dinner I couldn’t finish my share, which was weird. Yes I snacked a little while waiting for the food but it wasn’t a lot. This then prompted me to take a pregnancy test that very next day, and I got a shock when I saw a faded 2nd line as shown in the first photo. I was in a shock as my partner and I, despite wanting kids (if possible), we haven’t been trying actively for it as we are newlywed. In my head I was thinking this test kit must be faulty, considering it’s expired months ago. I proceeded to google the effectiveness of an expired test kit as well, but nothing conclusive. The very next day, I went to guardian and bought Clearblue’s test kit and tested, 2 dark blue lines appeared 🥹

I surprised my partner with the test kit he was shocked and happy as well! He was so excited about it and told me to purchase the digital test kit to know how far along am I, I was only 4-5weeks in.

After reading many reviews we made an appointment with the gynae, however, as I’m still very early into my pregnancy, the earliest I could go for a review would be end of August. It was a long 3 weeks wait 🥲
