Following my last post about the adjustable bed i got from Marble Sleep Company, i had pretty much decided which law firm to engage. One day out of the blue, i received a message from the Small Court notifying me of a Set Aside order that was filed, and my next consultation date would be late August (a 2-month wait from the day i received the text msg)🫠

As a quick recap, i purchased their storage bed back in March 2023 (yes, over a year ago…) and it only got delivered in Aug 2023 - a good 5 months later 😮‍💨 Long story short, the hydraulics of the storage bed didn’t work and i was told to wait till 2024 for new hydraulics. From Sep 2023 - Jan 2024, the brand did not reply my messages at all…

In Feb this year, surprisingly they agreed to a refund, and later MIAed for good forever (refer to my screenshots 😭) And yes, they didn’t respond even when i served them court letter via registered postage, email, and whatsapp 🤣🤣

So anyway, thanks to Marble and the ordeal they’ve put me through, i’ve learnt a lot. I’ve also found out that there are free legal clinics available,

To be honest, dealing with this company has been extremely frustrating, disappointing, anxiety-inducing, and taking a toll on my mental health. For a brand that’s supposedly promoting good sleep, they’re really giving me nothing but a nightmare. However, i’ve decided to persist cos it irks me that such unethical business can continue operating, and i know i’m not the only victim - you can check out their FB page’s review.

Hopefully sharing my story would mean one less victim - i really don’t want anyone to go through what i did.

In fact, this nightmare has been dragging on for so long, I have a colleague who has already gotten married, bought a resale flat, renovated her house and passed her one-year wedding anniversary already… and i’m still trying to resolve this 😮‍💨 Please, just let me sleep.
