second, this is in NO way a comprehensive list of my all-time favorite books. if anything, it's a Favorite Books From The Last Three Years list. 📚

for those of you who don't know, i've worked at a public library as a children's librarian for the last three years. 👩‍👧‍👦

in the past three years, i've read . . . about 400 books? probably? 📕📙📗📘

i try to stay up to date on all genres, not just children's books, because i have parents / aunts / grandparents / cousins and whoever else coming up to my desk and asking for book recs! i also love book tok and reading in general, so it's not like i DON'T want to stay up to date on good and popular books 💕

i'll try to do a list of 100 favorite books (hopefully without TOO MUCH overlap) if /when we reach 1,000! 🎉

now that there are so many of you, is there any type of specific content you'd prefer? i tend to stick to currently reading posts and book reviews, but I'd love to branch out and talk about movies and other things as well. i did a librarian life post before, let me know if you'd be interested in a series of those! 📚
