i just wanted to make a quick post about weekend activities before the weekend was over!

i just wanted to remind you that, even when you feel stuck in your Midwest town, there's always SOMETHING to do!

for example, 1. the library has a TON of options for activities. the #summerreading program will be starting in the next month at most public libraries, and they'll be giving away TONS of prizes to you for simply cracking open a good book (or turning on an audiobook, those rock)

2. never underestimate a good bookstore date! whether it's alone, with a friend, or with a partner — nothing beats a good coffee and bookstore day

3. reading outside costs literally nothing! so many towns has cute little parks. and even if you live in an apartment, you can lay a blanket in one of the grassy areas (check for dog poop first tho)

4. we love a target date. period. end of story.

5. how long is your tbr? asking for a friend.

6. i will NEVER shut up about thriftbooks!
