A mini guide to a wonder of the world:

The Taj Mahal is honestly worth every bit of hype. The grounds and architecture are truly up-kept SO well and blew me away when I got to visit.

🕍WHERE IS THE Taj Mahal LOCATED?

It is located in the city of Agra in India. I was surprised how dirty the city is directly outside of the Taj Mahal grounds as it’s kept so clean and nice inside. Be prepared to treck through a dirty and busy city to get here.

⏰WHEN DOES IT OPEN?

It is open between sunrise and sunset each day. I recommend getting there as early as possible to avoid crowds because it WILL get busy. I made the mistake of getting there around 9 and it was packed lol.

🎟️ WHERE TO GET TICKETS/HOW MUCH?

Tickets are available at the west and east gates throughout the day, and at the southern gate from 8am-5pm. They are around $14 per person for tourists.

🚶‍♂️ SHOULD YOU GET A TOUR GUIDE?

I would NOT get a tour guide again if I went. In my experience they want to rush you along to get to the next customer and expect huge tips. I would rather explore on my own and take my own pace personally, but this is up to you.

📸 Make sure to explore all the angles of the Taj Mahal if you love photos. The second photos angle is from the right and left sides are probably best to go to first thing in the morning to get shots with no one else!

This is for sure worthy of being a 7 wonder of the world!
