Easy Gumbo

Louisiana fish fry gumbo base is the fav!

***Totally forgot to take pics. But I included exact ingredients in the pic. I’m 100% convinced you could throw all the ingredients in a crockpot at the same time & get the same results***

1. Follow the base recipe. I use 4 cups of water and 4 cups of low in sodium chicken stock

2. While that base cooks, I cook green peppers and onion together in a sauce pan. I normally would also do celery, but I forgot it!

3. Add sausage, the green peppers, onion, and frozen okra. Bring to boil.

4. Add minute rice (2 cups for a more soupy soup or 3 cups for thicker soup) & Add shrimp. Bring back to boil.
