I always say I have the best job ever, from the general joy I get working kids to the actual work life balance, creativity & pay.

As a school-based OT, I make 6 figures working 4 days/week with all holidays and breaks included. While I’m well aware that pay, OT space and days varies widely as a therapist. I really feel like I hit the jackpot. And anyone who has a creative, holistic soul should really consider occupational therapy in any capacity.

I work till 4pm on my latest days. I’m allowed flexibility and creativity with how I work with students. And my caseload ranges from mild needs to very high complex.
