tips for prewedding shoot! (pets edition)

I was searching for PWS tips and i realised there wasnt any with pets! So here are some awesome tips for pre-wedding shoots, especially if you're bringing your furry friend along! 🐶 from my session in June 2023!

📍 Site Recce: So, here's the deal – I learned the importance of scoping out the location beforehand. What you imagine in your mind might differ from reality! Trust me on this one. Plus, it helps you estimate travel time and plan for any extra necessities. For example, at the Gallop Extension at Botanics, it took us about a 15-minute walk from the carpark! 🚶‍♀️So if your gown is too heavy, you might want to re-think!

⏰ Timeline Planning: Don't stress, but planning your shoot timeline is key! It ensures you have enough prep time and avoids any "overruns" on the big day. If you're bringing your adorable doggo along, remember they're super active, so extending the photoshoot time at the location is important! 🐾

🚚 Logistics Planning: Let's get organized! Prep all the fun items you wanna feature in your photoshoot. You can score some awesome stuff on Taobao or Shopee, and I'm totally Team Taobao for the cost and variety! 😎I got myself some fairy umbrella lights for my night shoots, cute shades, and unique props like Husband & Wife Oriental Fans if you have Chinese Temple shoots!

🤝 Engage Your Friends: Call in your squad! Especially if you have a doggo in the picture, having friends to lend a paw is a game-changer! They can help with doggo care and even carry any miscellaneous stuff. Our friend drove for us, and we had two cars for the whole crew, including my talented makeup artist and photog! 🚗🚗 It made the day smooth as butter!
