Help. Which prom dress should I wear?

This year’s prom will be in May and I need to start looking for prom dresses 👀.

Option 1: Passion Fruit Classic Dress

🛍Brand: THEIA Boutique ($690)

👍Pros:

-comfortable.

-ankle length (so I can walk and dance with no problem)

-I feel from Royalty 👸 , princess dress 👗

-the color is gorgeous.

-flattering.

-Has pockets.

🤔Cons:

-maybe it is not appropriate for prom? Too basic?

-Too common color?

Option 2: Blue Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ Dress

🛍Brand:SHEIN ($50)

👍Pros:

-Fits like a glove

-open back

-different color

-3D design

🤔Cons:

-too long (can barely walk)

-similar to my last year dress

-many people will be wearing mermaid dresses

-I cannot be 100% comfortable in this dress.

What do you think? Which one should I keep? 🤔
